Hamilton Ticats -3.5 vs Toronto Argos +3.5 — Over/Under 54

The Ticats put a beating on this Toronto team when they visited Tim Hortons Field on Labour Day, and Zach Collaros broke CFL records with his 400+ yards passing and 4 TD’s. Now, the Argos have a chance for revenge when they host Hamilton on Friday Night Football, and they have made it clear that Collaros is public enemy #1. It is apparent that the Ticats are not the same dominant team on the road as they are at home, and Zach Collaros is not likely to put up the same numbers against a motivated Argos team who is looking to shut him down.

Prediction: Toronto Argos +3.5

The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Hamilton’s last 5 games when playing Toronto
Hamilton is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Toronto
Toronto is 2-6 ATS in its last 8 games at home
The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Toronto’s last 5 games at home

Saskatchewan Roughriders vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers — Over/Under 51

Saskatchewan got their first win of the season at home last week against this Winnipeg team, and Oddsmakers have them favoured by a point to do it again on the road. Matt Nichols will already be making his first start for Winnipeg after being acquired from Edmonton, which shows the level of desperation the Bombers are facing without Drew Willy, as they are 0-3 without their starting quarterback.

Prediction: Pass

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Saskatchewan’s last 5 games when playing Winnipeg
The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Winnipeg’s last 8 games
Winnipeg is 1-6 SU in its last 7 games
Winnipeg is 1-5-2 ATS in its last 8 games at home

Calgary Stampeders +1 vs Edmonton Eskimos -1 — Over/Under 47

Calgary beat Edmonton on Labour Day in a hard-nosed affair that would be expected from West rivals in a battle for 1st place. Calgary swept the Labour Day series last year, and the Eskimos hope to prevent that from happening again in 2015. Edmonton QB Mike Reilly returned from injury in the 2nd half last week, and the Esks expect to have his services for the entire game in Week 12. Interestingly enough, Reilly was also injured during the Labour Day series last year, so lets see how this Edmonton team fares in the ‘Battle of Alberta” with the leader under centre.

Prediction: Edmonton Eskimos -1 and Under 47 points

Calgary is 3-7 ATS in its last 10 games
The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Calgary’s last 10 games
Edmonton is 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Calgary
The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Edmonton’s last 7 games when playing Calgary

Ottawa Redblacks +4 vs BC Lions -4 — Over/Under 50.5

The Ottawa Redblacks have surprised most CFL fans with their performance in 2015 and they have already surpassed their win total from last year. That is why they may be better than their dismal 1-10 record against the BC Lions indicates. BC will be without Travis Lulay due to injury, and will have to start quarterback John Beck, who threw for 2 TD’s and 2 INT’s in a win last week over Montreal. However, much of that had to do with Alouette’s mistakes, and the BC Lions are only 2-8 against-the-spread in their last 10 games.

Prediction: Ottawa Redblacks +4

The total has gone OVER in 5 of Ottawa’s last 6 games
Ottawa is 1-10 SU in its last 11 games when playing British Columbia
British Columbia is 2-8 ATS in its last 10 games
The total has gone UNDER in 4 of British Columbia’s last 6 games when playing Ottawa
