Hamilton Tiger-Cats +4.5 at Toronto Argos -4.5 Over/Under 54

This will be the first game for the Argos at BMO field, which figures to provide a more fan-friendly setting than the Rogers Centre. Also, it will be the first home game the Argos will play on a grass field, which might make for a lower scoring game against old provincial rivals the Hamilton Ticats.

Prediction: Under 54 points

Montreal Alouettes +2 at Winnipeg Blue Bombers -2 Over/Under 50.5

A defense-minded Montreal Alouettes team will try and rebound from an abysmal season when they travel to Winnipeg to face Drew Willy and the Blue Bombers. The Bombers, on the other hand, have a bright looking season ahead of them after an injury riddled 2015 campaign. Look for a healthy Drew Willy to connect with newly signed Weston Dressler en route to the win.

Prediction: Winnipeg -2

Ottawa Redblacks +6 at Edmonton Eskimos -6 Over/Under 52.5

The Redblacks will be looking for revenge after last years Grey Cup defeat at the hands of the Eskimos. However, this Edmonton team will be without last years coaching staff along with many core players from the Grey Cup champion roster. Look for Ottawa to take advantage of an Eskimos team that comes out flat the first game back.

Prediction: Ottawa +6

Calgary Stampeders -4 at B.C. Lions +4 Over/Under 48

The city of Vancouver has all but lost hope in this squad and storied head coach of the BC Lions, Wally Buono, has returned to the sidelines to try and lead his team to their first playoff win since 2011. The Lions draw a tough opponent in Calgary, but QB Jonathon Jennings might raise some eyebrows with his play and at least cover the point spread here.

Prediction: Lions +4
