Team Canada are favoured by -6.5 goals over Germany with a game total of 8.5 (Courtesy of 888 Sport).

Canada was dominant in their trouncing of Slovakia, and the top line was firing on all cylinders once again. Connor McDavid’s line still hasn’t got going, as him and Curtis Lazar failed to be among the 11 names on the score sheet. Zach Fucale’s glove hand looked sharp in the shutout win, but he was only tested with 12 shots on net by Slovakia. Head coach Benoit Groulx has said they will get Eric Comrie a start in net against Germany.

On paper, Canada has Germany severely overmatched in this game. Especially since they are without their biggest name, Leon Draisaitl, who was not released from his position with the Edmonton Oilers for the World Juniors. The biggest danger is that Canada gets overconfident and takes this German team too lightly.
