After being the only lady to reach the semifinal of both grand slams this year, Eugenie Bouchard is no longer flying under the radar with oddsmakers heading into Wimbledon 2014. Check out a preview of Eugenie Bouchard’s chances of winning Wimbledon, along with the betting odds here…

Seeded at #13, Eugenie Bouchard is currently (+1600) to win Wimbledon outright, (+800) to reach the final. Odds courtesy of Bet365.

Eugenie Bouchard actually won the Wimbledon juniors title back in 2012, and entered the main draw for the first time in 2013, where she reached the 3rd round and drew attention after upsetting Ana Ivanovic. So, in other words, Genie Bouchard is no stranger to the grass courts at Wimbledon.

However, she has received an unlucky draw in 2014 that sees Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova in her quarter. Bouchard will have to face Daniela Hantuchova in Round 1 where the Canadian is favoured at (-275), which is far from a walkover. If Bouchard were to advance past the early rounds, she would likely have to beat Serena Williams in order to even reach the quarterfinals.

Although this is a tough draw for Genie in Wimbledon this year, we may get to see her pitted against Serena Williams in a rematch of their only ever meeting at WTA Cincinnati in 2013 where Genie took a set off Williams as a large underdog.
